Public art of Baltimore’s favorite food choices. The simplistic style reminds viewers to a chalkboard eateries display for specials or quips to lighten the day. Situated in the Inner Harbor where you have access to all these foods.
This was also The Bolton Art Collective’s first collaborative dive. Check the collective out here.
Selected to paint a public art cicada for the Cicada Parade-a in Baltimore.
Like a phoenix, cicadas are reborn ever 13 or 17 years to emerge from their slumbers and transform. Although the bug does move on to the next life, I like to think they return to the ground only the repeat the same process.
I also named it Icarus who flew to close to the sun…. or in cicada’s cases…. headlights.
